Soazig in Ushant

Our gîte is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac on the heights of Lanildut at the tip of Finistère. Bordered by the Aber Ildut, Europe's #1 seaweed harbor, the village is classified as a "Patrimoine rural" (rural heritage) site. Here, people take the time to live simply, with friends or family, and enjoy the silence of the countryside. Days are dictated by the choice of walks and the rhythm of the tides (a path behind the garden leads to the menhirs circuit, and the GR34 is just 1.8 km away). It's a place where people come to walk, cycle, surf, eat seafood, read or do nothing... It's also possible to escape to the islands of Ouessant and Molène from the Lanildut pier, or to the Isle of Sein and the Crozon peninsula from the city of Brest, less than 25 km away. Every detail of the longère has been thought through to preserve its Breton identity: the doorways and granite fireplaces have been renovated, and the objects echo Breton folk art.

Seventeenth-century stone farmhouse located next to a small gîte-chaumière and close to the owners' house, completely independent. Beautiful renovation completed in 2018, highlighting the old stone features and favoring natural materials, oak floors and pegged beams. Three steps down to enter the gîte. First floor: living room with stove and open kitchen. A 30m2 open-plan bedroom with 1 bed 180x200 (separable) and its open-plan shower room with walk-in shower, separate wc. A 2nd high-ceilinged bedroom with 1 bed 140x200, 1 separate retro-style shower room with walk-in shower and wc. Upstairs, a mezzanine overlooking the living room with an enclosed cabin bed for 2 adults or 2 children, with 160x200 mattress and bed base (separable). Beds made on arrival. Private parking and covered bike shed, open garden with lounge and deckchairs.
