Why take advantage?

Lanildut is located on the north shore of the Aber Ildut. Europe's leading seaweed port, boats unload tons of seaweed in the harbor all year round. A tour of the town reveals its rich maritime past.

Beautiful stone houses hide behind high granite walls on the picturesque rumorvan path. Built in the 17th and 18th centuries by merchant captains, they are also known as "privateers' houses" or "English houses". Most of these houses are topped by half-moon-shaped chimneys known as "English chimneys", hence their name.
