Horse Festival

Sunday, May 12 in Tréouergat

The Fête du Cheval in the small town of Tréouergat is always a great time of conviviality and surprising shows!

The day kicks off at 11:30 with the traditional parade of horse-drawn carriages from the village, followed by a meal of grilled pork and French fries, prepared by Loulou and his team.

The afternoon is given over to equestrian events, show jumping, carousel, western riding, Irish racing, various games, demonstration of old-fashioned potato harvesting, presentation of old tractors, basketry, old-fashioned bread-making and churned butter.

A great day out for the whole family!

Seaweed Forum

Sunday, July 28 in Lanildut

The Seaweed Forum takes place every two years at Europe's leading seaweed unloading port.

During this event, seaweed will reveal all its secrets through a wide range of activities, including demonstrations of the ancient practices of burning seaweed, hauling seaweed up on horseback, and the current use of scoubidou.

Professional exhibitors will showcase their know-how and seaweed-based products. A seaweed cooking workshop will be on offer, as well as lectures, sea rides on SNSM boats, visits to heritage boats, and several concerts throughout the day. Catering on site for lunch and dinner.

Crab Festival

2,000 crustaceans served from midday to the last claw - that's what the 33rd edition of this festive, gourmet feast promises! 

The Place de la Mairie will be transformed into a huge open-air restaurant for the occasion. On the menu: a starter, a whole crab, a seasonal fruit
All to be enjoyed in a festive, good-humored atmosphere, accompanied by musical groups on 2 stages from midday to midnight.
Don't forget to bring your crab tongs and your cup!
In addition to the crab meal, we'll be serving chips/sausages/merguez all day long.
And for dessert lovers, there'll be stands selling crêpes, far breton, cakes, coffee...
And don't forget the kids with a candy stand!!!
A water bar is available on site!
Fireworks at 11pm!

Fête de la mer

August 15 in Molène

The Fête de la mer takes place every year on the charming island of Molène on August 15.

After the traditional mass and blessing of the boats on the quay, the various lifeboats (from Le Conquet and Ouessant stations, etc.) head out to sea to lay a wreath in tribute to those lost at sea.

Numerous events with on-site catering, sale of SNSM clothing, lottery, afternoon concert, evening catering, concert from 9pm with Denez Prigent. 

Fireworks at dusk and concert until 2am.

Breton wedding

August 15 in Brélès

Every year, the Foyer rural de Brélès organizes a re-enactment of a Breton wedding from the1st half of the 20th century.

The day begins at 11am with a superb costume parade. Around a hundred people accompany the newlyweds in procession.

After the wedding meal, concerts, fest deiz and arts and crafts liven up this traditional celebration well into the night.

July 2025 in Saint-Renan

The Saint-Renan Medieval Festival takes place every two years. It welcomes you in 2025 for its 18th edition.

Come one, come all to honor our Duchess and Queen Anne of Brittany and our King Louis XII on a visit to Saint-Renan. The trestles are set up in every square. Come and laugh at the fabliaux where every word is chosen for your enjoyment, be lulled by a tale, transported by the troubadours, stroll through the market and marvel at the fire show!

Since the very beginning of the Saint Renan medieval festival, access to the site and street entertainment has been entirely free.
