Why choose this establishment?

It's possible to cross the Aber Ildut by boat! It takes you from Lampaul-Plouarzel to Lanildut, and vice versa. Whether you're a local, a hiker along the GR34, a cyclist on the V45 or a coastal route, you can enjoy this crossing. Come aboard this motorboat named "Phine la Passeuse".

All year round, during harbor master's office opening hours, Patrice and Benjamin make it easy to cross from the Lanildut shore to the Lampaul-Plouarzel shore.

. A solution for walkers on the GR 34 who want to save themselves the 13 km of the Aber Ildut tour.

. There's no question about it when you set off on the PR "Au fil de l'Aber Ildut" (13km), on either side of the aber, starting from the port of Porscave (porscaff) in Lampaul-Plouarzel or from the port of Lanildut. Without this "shuttle", you'll have to turn back.

. It's also an opportunity for visiting yachtsmen and residents of surrounding towns who don't want to make the "long trip".

. Cyclists will be delighted to take their bikes on board, for a small extra charge.

FOR THE RECORD :

Why the name "Phine la passeuse"?
Simply in memory of the last known smuggler in the area. She was a local figure. And many still remember her today. From 1951 to 1980, Fine la passeuse carried many passengers between Lampaul-Plouarzel and Lanildut (north Finistère). At any time of day or night, in any weather, in any season, she would scull across the Aber Ildut in her frail boat. She was the last local ferrywoman. Fine had learned to scull at the age of 5, and said she had only one enemy: the wind!
