Lighthouse Night

Experience a magical moment when you visit the Saint-Mathieu lighthouse at night during the February school vacations.

At nightfall, visitors are invited to meet one of our mediators at the top of the lighthouse, on the walkway, who will have prepared a guided tour for you. Under the guidance of the mediator, visitors can observe the rotation of the lens and its powerful illumination of the vastness of the sea. They can also learn about the history of the Saint-Mathieu lighthouse, hear anecdotes about the keepers and the various lights, and watch the magnificent ballet of light beams from the lighthouses and beacons visible from the coast.

An absolutely magical and unique timeless moment at Pointe Saint-Mathieu, more than 37m above sea level!

Practical information:
There is ample parking close to the lighthouse.
Please arrive at the lighthouse 10 minutes before the tour begins.
An exhibition room and gift store are located at the entrance to the lighthouse.
The tour takes place outdoors on the walkway, so it's important to be well covered up.
