Why take advantage?

Hidden among the trees between Plouarzel and Saint Renan, Château de Kervéatoux opens its gardens to you. The de Taisne family, who have owned the property for generations, organize 1h30 guided tours of the gardens of this romantic château. Take the opportunity to visit the Kerloas Menhir! The tallest menhir in the world is located close to the château, and its 9.50-meter height is sure to impress.

The history of this building began in the 15th century with the construction of a magnificent Breton manor house. Subsequent improvements saw the manor transformed into a romantic château in the late 19th century. You'll discover a pond, mills, dovecote, cannons, towers... The guided tour will be punctuated by stories such as the devil's gate, the occupation of the site by the Germans, the cannons taken on board in the Crimea, and the history of the de Taisne family.
