Traces of the sea

As a painter, I set up my studio by the sea, on the Pointe de Saint Mathieu in Plougonvelin. Fascinated by the Japanese approach to gyotaku, I perfected my skills in this traditional art of taking fish prints with the greatest masters in Osaka.

I have developed various printmaking techniques: gyotaku, tataki zomé, linocut ... I find my inspiration in nature, exploring both the marine and plant worlds. These universes concentrate so much beauty that these techniques allow us to perceive it in relief. For me, they are a mark of profound respect for nature, allowing the artist to humbly offer a different view of our environment by leaving just a trace...

Driven by the pleasure of passing on and sharing, I offer painting workshops for all levels.
