Why take advantage?

Not far from Pointe Saint-Mathieu, in Plougonvelin, lies a little hidden paradise, a veritable haven of peace. This magnificent botanical garden has been laid out along a stream by the indefatigable Gaby Quellec, a native of the area. The former Vaéré washhouse was buried under a mountain of earth and plant debris. In 2004, the former farmer decided to roll up his sleeves, tools and courage to transform the site.

No less than 4,500 m² have been transformed by his hands. The octogenarian has done a titanic job so that today we can find countless flowers, medicinal, aromatic and tropical plants, washhouses, pools where fish and frogs swim, stone models that give way to small scenes. These miniature constructions were made with the precious help of Pierre Lannuzel.

Absolutely peaceful, this sumptuous green setting invites you on a journey.

Gaby spends her days landscaping and improving her garden. Come and meet him. He'll be happy to share his knowledge and love of nature and his land with you. His dedication, passion and hard work will leave you in awe.

A unique moment, cut off from the rest of the world, as if suspended, awaits you. Let yourself be charmed by this sumptuous garden.
