Carn Island

Natural heritage

Why take advantage?

As early as 4200 B.C., the presence of man on the Pays d'Iroise coastline has been noted. On this mythical island, accessible only at low tide, you'll find a Cairn (tumulus measuring 30 m in diameter and 8 m high) comprising 3 burial chambers. It was listed as a historic monument in 1955.
The island is only accessible at low tide when the tidal range is at least 80°.
